How do I limit the number of front page posts? The Sela theme

  Hello!

  Hope you can help ..

  Every post I have posted so far is showing up on my standard homepage (I cant afford to pay to upgrade at the moment).

  Is there a way to limit the posts to just show 3 posts on the home page, then readers can ‘’read more’’ if they wish?

  Hey there. I ran into the same issue you did and I did some poking around to try and figure it out. It turns out there’s two settings you have to set to make it display only a limited number of posts. First, under WP-Admin > settings > reading you have to set the number of posts. I’m pretty sure you already did that.

  But, there’s another setting you have to turn off. In the same reading settings, scroll down until you find the infinite scroll option, then uncheck that. Click save and you should be good to go.

  Just note that disabling infinite scroll isn’t available on all themes. But if you set the number of posts to display at three, for example, then only three at a time will load as readers scroll down.

  I cant afford to pay to upgrade at the moment

  Upgrading won’t make any difference regarding this, as it’s part of the core WordPress programming which we can’t change.
