How do I limit the number of posts that appear on the page?

  How do I limit the number of posts that appear on the page? I only want 4 posts to appear at any one given time on the main blog page of http://campspringcreek.wordpress.com/. I know how to truncate posts and plan them and lay them out. But I can’t see how to limit the number that appear on the main page.

  Settings > Reading: uncheck the option “Scroll Infinitely”, enter 4 in the “Blog pages show at most” field, scroll down and click Save Changes.
