How do I link a wordpress ecommerce store to my non wordpress website?
-
I have been searching all over the internet trying to find the answer, but I have had no luck. I am a do it myself type of guy, so I decided to make my own website from scratch I started creating the templates on photoshop, and transferred it over to dreamweaver in order to make it come to life. However the problem I am incountering is with trying to implement a ecommerce store for selling t-shirts on my custom template website. So I thought of making a WordPress store and linking it to my actual website (teeos.net) however I do not see a way to be able to link them together? I am wanting my custom template website because of the freedom I have of designing it the way I want it. However I need a store as well. Any ideas? Any thoughts? In desperate need of some help if any…

Hi there.
The best place for your question is actually the WordPress.org forums. On WordPress.com users can’t install custom themes, and shopping cart integration is restricted to Ecwid, Shopify and Gumroad plugins available for users with the Business upgrade.
If you built your site on the WordPress software you should be able to use a WordPress-compatible plugin, but if you created the site entirely from scratch I don’t know if that would be possible. Either way, the people in the WordPress.org forums should be able to answer this for you.
