How do I link Amazon and Goodreads widgets on my website?

    I am having a problem linking a specific Amazon page onto my website (the side bar). On the Amazon Associates page, it directs me to “Highlight and copy the HTML below, then paste it into the code for your Web site.”

    Paste it into the code? I don’t understand this section.

    I want to have an Amazon widget where people simply click on it and are directed to purchase my book through Amazon. How do I do that?

    I’m having the same issue with linking my author’s page from Goodreads to my website (the side bar). It tells me to copy and paste the link onto my website. WHERE on my website?

    Please help! I’m ready to murder my laptop.

    Hi there,

    In the Dashboard of your account, navigate to the Appearance section and then Widgets. You’ll need to activate a Text Widget and you can then paste in code Amazon, etc.

    There are some kinds of code which isn’t allowed, so if for some reason the code doesn’t work, that might be why. Let me know if it doesn’t work and I’ll take a look at the code.
