How do I link my blog to my existing website and how do I change my blog URL?

  How do I link my blog to my existing website?
  My blog URL reads wwwdotdreamitbelieveitandachieveitdotcom
  I thought I was adding my web address which is: http://www.dreamitbelieveitandachieveit.com
  How do I make that part of my blog URL?
  Help??? I am not a techie person and am trying to do things myself and am really really confused.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hiya Judy,

  You can control the ‘Primary Domain’ of your blog at the following link:

  https://wwwdotdreamitbelieveitandachieveitdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  or by going to Store > Domains under your Dashboard.

  I have set http://www.dreamitbelieveitandachieveit.com as your ‘Primary Domain’. This means that anybody who visits http://wwwdotdreamitbelieveitandachieveitdotcom.wordpress.com will now be shown http://www.dreamitbelieveitandachieveit.com instead.

  I cannot seem to get to my blog at all now. I wanted to change the primary domain above from: https://wwwdotdreamitbelieveitandachieveitdotcom.wordpress.com
  to something shorter. How do I do that? Yes, I like it being linked to my website. But was I was trying to do was pull in the external link of my blog directly into my website – now I cannot do that. Understand what I am asking?

  Hey Judy,

  It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=dreamitbelieveitandachieveit.com

  Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  You will then need to update your primary domain. Nameserver changes can take a day or so to update, so don’t worry if it doesn’t happen immediately.

  You are almost there – just need to complete the last step of domain mapping upgrade!

  Go to this page:

  http://wwwdotdreamitbelieveitandachieveitdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  Select your custom domain as the primary domain, then save the changes.
