How do I link my project to an external site

In the portfolio archive page I would like to be able to click the box of a project and it go to an external site (where my article is hosted) not to a page within my site – is this possible?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As of a year ago, this wasn’t possible. I haven’t found anything more current that would suggest otherwise, but maybe someone else might weigh on the subject.

That sounds like you just want your site to send traffic off site – that would be a Terms of Service issue and could get your blog suspended – WordPress.COM likes to see original content – not sites that just send people elsewhere

chill out. It’s for a uni assignment so the only person looking at it is my tutor.

    Thanks findingmarshall for your response

Just did not want you to have problems with the TOS – sometimes I will try and warn people of potential problems with the TOS – and people get upset when helped

Also some people (I do anyway) are upset when they click on a link on a site and end up dumped on another site with no warning – some sites I use have a warning when you go off their site in the form of a popup

    Good luck with your class
