How do i link to a page without adding the page to navigation/menu?

  I have one added but the only way i could find to keep it out of the menu was to mark it private…but it is a public event so i do not want it marked private.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When you create a custom menu you include only the items you want to include in it. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
  You can disable this setting at Dashboard > Appearance > Menus at the very bottom of the page on the right hand side.
  Menu Settings
  Auto add pages
  __ Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu
