How do I locate my EPP/Authorization Code to transfer domains?
-
I tried tutorial I came across on a help page but there is no way for me to “edit” my domain name as suggested. How can I find the EPP/Authorization code for my blog at http://www.nycpickupartist.wordpress.com and transfer it to another domain registar?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The same happens to me. There is *NO* Edit button whereever… :-(
So, someone from the support team can help there (and the help pages are outdated anyway…)

@lcornejo88
You are confused. This site is on a wordpress.COM sub-domain and the URL cannot be transferred. You need to read these instructions carefully if you are Moving to a Self-Hosted WordPress Site https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/ -
@chrismay2
You are posting to the wrong support forum as http://www.mayforms.com/ is not hosted here. There is no domain mapping upgrade for mayforms.com/ and the domain was not purchased through wordpress.COM.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_PageSee also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/
P.S. Always avoid adding to an existing thread. Start your own and never assume your issue is the same as what’s posted in another thread.

Well have you read Point a WordPress.com Domain to GoDaddy then?
https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/point-a-wordpress-com-domain-to-godaddy/ -
If you have an actual domain, like example.com, you can transfer your domain to a different registrar by following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/
Please check your junk/spam folder, if you don’t receive the EPP code.
