How do i lock my images so they cannot be downloaded?

    I want to be able to lock my images so people are unable to download them and use them for other purposes. How can I do this?

    Hi there,

    It isn’t possible to lock images like that on WordPress.com. (Some websites try to make it harder, but there are ways around it if someone really wants to download an image.) Instead, we have tips for preventing people from stealing your images and other content here: Prevent Content Theft

    In particular, we recommend adding a watermark to all of your images to discourage people from trying to download and reuse them without your permission. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
