How do I log in to wordpress for the first time?

  I have never used WordPress and I’m trying log in using the standard:

  http://www.example.com/wp-admin

  I’m getting an error message. I simply want to log in and start using the program.

  Try the secure https:// log-in and note there is no “www” in any WordPress.com URL. http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
