How do I log into app with authenicator?

Can’t access iPhone app because of authenticator. I can see my Reader, but not my blog. How can I blog on my iPhone?

Are you using the WordPress for iOS app? and do you get any error message when accessing your blog?

Yes. I am told that my account has the two step authenticator. When I click on Need Help? I get nothing

There is no two step authentication within the WP for iOS app itself, we use the Google Authenticator for that.
Can you please walk me through the problem? Please be as specific as possible and explain the steps you are taking in detail.

I sign in from the second option, and right away I’m told about my account having the authenticator. It offers help, but when I tap on that, nothing happens

It also says I need an application specific password to log in. But the need help? doesn’t help.

Do you have the Google Authenticator installed on your phone? Otherwise first go to this link with a desktop computer to correctly setup the two steps authentication: https://wordpress.com/?ssl=forced#!/settings/security/

I tried following the steps, but nothing happened. I made up a password specifically for the WP app but couldn’t get in. Perhaps I did something wrong?
