How do I log into my wordpress site after i have transferred domain elsewhere?

    so i am not ‘techie’ at all. basically i had a wordpress blog for a number of years. i recently developed a new site with wix.com. this was simply an easier editor for me to use and create. anyway, my thought was that my existing wordpress site content would remain accessible even after i pointed the domain to the new wix site. long and short is after i made the domain change, i have not been able to log into my wordpress site at all???! this is really bad for me as i had intended to go back and pull content from my old blogs to populate my new site! help!
