How do I make a background gradient (color on bottom to white on top)

  I would like the background of my blog to have a gradient from bottom to top. The colour code is #9999FF and I am using the chunk theme. I am also want the gradient to not create problems when scrolling. Thanks a bunch!

  The easiest way to do this would be to create an image of the gradient, then upload that image and use it as your background.
