    How do i make a copy of my site and download it?
    I would like to host my site somewhere else and i now have a wordpress.com site, what is your advice? I would like to make webshop and it seems ok to do that with Strato for example

    Hi there.

    You can export all your WordPress.com content by following these instructions:

    Export Your Website’s Content

    This will give you a file that you can upload to another blog. It’s an XML file that isn’t readable, but once uploaded will populate your new site.

    Are you planning on creating a WordPress.org self-hosted site on Strato, using e-commerce plugins for your shop? If so, the export/import should be smooth.
