How do I make a “create your own” page like…

    If this question is very general and the answer requires a lot of HTML, I understand. I have very little idea about how to make websites but I would like to learn. Anyway..

    I am planning on creating a blog site similar to icanhascheezburger.com in which people upload and post their own picture with their choice of captions on top and bottom. It has its own theme but I’d rather not reveal that yet. I want to create a page very similar to: http://cheezburger.com/lolbuilder.aspx?v=1

    Does wordpress have any advanced options to allow this? Or do I need to find the coding elsewhere?

    WordPress.com does indeed have advanced options to do this; it’s called the VIP program, you have to be approved for it, it costs $1500 to set up and $600 a month to maintain.

    “Options” is not really the right word – cheezburger.com runs a lot of custom code written by its owners, the lolbuilder included.

    Also, cheezburger.com isn’t hosted at wp.com – icanhascheezburger.com is.
