How do i make a news flash with pictures? And Change the color of a menu headers

  Hi we in the process of making a newspage and we would like to add some touch to so it looks like a news website. My thinking is that it has like a gallary of pictures that run like a slideshow, then a caption or little summary about each picture below it so if someone is interested in the story behind the picture they can click to read more. Can I do it on the theme I have currently or do I have to change the theme to do it? I want to have the news flash on the Main screen not the sidebar please help me.

  Also we are looking to change the menu header color or even the text color with out changing a lot of what we have already. How can we do that?

  i noticed when you put a picture on the website and then you click the picture it takes you to a different page with just the picture showing, is there a way to turn that off or on?

  You can do that by going to Appearance → Customize → Colors in your Dashboard. If you aren’t happy with the color changes that you can make there, let me know exactly what you want to change and we may be able to edit CSS to make that happen.

  Yes. Edit the image and then select None where it says Link to as seen here:
