How do I make a page link to an external URL?

  I know how to make this work with a plugin, but not without.
  On my site, how can I have pages I’ve created link to a different site?
  That is, when I click a category on my menu, I want it to move away from my site.

  Does anyone have a solution for this?
  Help would be greatly appreciated.

  You can’t make a link to a category page go to somethign that isn’t a category page. You can create a tabbed header with links that go off your blog if you use a Custom Menu. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
