How do I make a page on my menu have sub-categories with different posts on?
-
Hello, I’ve been trying to work this out but I can’t seem to…
I want to make a page, and put it on my menu called ‘Travel’. I want this to be static, and have several sub-categories of various areas around the world, which when you click on them, will then lead you to a page with all the posts I have written relating to that subject. How do I do this? :S
Thanks! Gemma

Hi there,
Your best bet would be to assign categories, like “Travel” and “Bermuda”, to your posts.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/You can then build a custom menu, and include category pages on your menu:

Ahhh thank you for replying!
I have built a custom menu, and I have included category pages on there… But I want to put four categories as subheading on one page on the menu (So the page is TRAVEL and the four sub headings are Latin Am, Europe, Australia, Asia)
It says on the wordpress support bit that you should be able to drag the category to the left of the page and it should just automatically turn into a sub heading? But this doesn’t seem to be working for me…
I am just so confused haha!

Actually, just drag the subheading to the right slightly.
See the video guide at the bottom of http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ for more details.
