How do I make a page visible under its Parent Page?
-
I’ve just created a new Parent page, which I would like to have about 3 ‘child’ pages underneath.
However, I’ve created the first of these child pages (and linked it to its parent page) but the Parent Page only is visible! No sign of the child page at all.
I can’t see anything else I can do to make it visible – any ideas please? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you mean you want to make them visible in your menu? Child pages must be manually added to your menu in your Dashboard at Appearance > Menus. You can select the pages to add on the left hand side, then drag and drop them to the appropriate part of the menu. (To make them “sub-menu” items, you’ll need to drag them to the right a little bit.)

Troubleshooting – My Pages aren’t appearing
They must be public pages – not private, not drafts and not password protected.
Public – The page will be visible to everyone.
Protected – The page is protected with a password you set. Only people who have the password can view a protected page.
Private – Pages are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private pages are not visible in Blog Surfer, feeds, or in any search. A page can be private without being password protected.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/Locate the pages in the dashboard and edit them to check page visibility settings. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/
*All Pages are displayed in alphabetical order unless you create a custom menu.
Troubleshooting – My pages are in the wrong order
If you have a custom menu then you must establish consistency. Check the Pages sub-pages themselves to see if you have established a Parent page and child page “hierarchical structure” in the page attributes module. Remove if required. Also remove any “order” numbers you have assigned that may conflict with the order you are creating by dropping and dragging. Or simply change them so they are the same order as you establish in the menu. Establish consistency – problem solved.
