How do I make a post to be always shown first

Hi. Thank you for your help in this matter.
I would like to make one Post “static,” so it is always the first one shown. I did see something in the settings, a radio button to select a static page that but the drop down menus for both pages and posts were pages only.
As of now, the first one – post – shown is the latest entry.

Click on visibility at the side when you make a post and choose sticky from the drop down…
