how do I make a seperate post

I’m a newbie. I wrote a post yesterday and it came up fine. I tried to write a new post today, but when I published it, the new post came up on the same page as the old one. I hope someone can tell me how to archieve yesterday’s post and have today’s seperate. Thanks.

you cannot do that. all posts only appear on the home page. you can however create pages that do not appear in the home page.
