How do I make an animated.gif widget?

  I have the animated.gif, but making it into a widget is another step I have not understood.

  Do you mind taking a look at (https://helpmeet39.wordpress.com/2015/01/10/gravatar-avatar-blavatar-or-brand/) to see if something can be done with my creation?

  The size is 150 x 150.
