How do I make an image fill the width of my home page?

How do I make an image fill the width of the page and go behind the search bar like with the Stay theme? I used the function ‘Header’ under ‘Appearance’ on my dashboard and put in an image, but it still doesn’t look like the one in the example of the Stay theme, in which the bedroom image fills the width of the page and is behind the search bar.

    Hi there,

In the Stay theme, the banner that you see stretching between the menu and the content is actually a slider which is taken from some of your posts. You can find out more on how to create such a beautiful look by reading the instructions for how to use the Home Page Template on the Stay theme page:

Aha! Thank you so much. I’m a beginner and not sure where to find all my answers, so this helps a lot.

My pleasure! That page is going to be a lot of help as you’re getting your site to look how you want it to. They put a lot of tips and tricks in there. :)

Hope you have a great week!
