How do I make internal hyperlinks, within the same post for footnotes, etc.

  Hi folks,

  I created an MSWord document that had extensive internal hyperlinks for endnotes. When I copied it into wordpress, external links were maintined, but I lost all of the internal links between the endnote numbers in the body of the article, to each associated endnote at the end of the article.

  Two questions:

  1) Is there any way to import or copy a word document into wordpress without losing those internal hyperlinks?

  2) Is there a way to manually create internal hyperlinks?

  Thank you Justpi, that helps.

  Is there some way, however, to copy/import the internal links intact from a word document? The external links worked fine, but none of my internal links work – and I’ve got over 60 of them in this article. I hope there’s a way so I don’t have to recreate each manually again…
