How do I make menu indicate active pages
-
I am using the Twenty Eleven theme. How do I get the menu to indicate which page is active? If I am on the Home page, I want “Home” on the menu to be highlighted in some way. If I am on the About Us page, I want “About Us” to be highlighted, etc.?

Do you have CSS editing experience and are you willing to purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade?
-
I do not have any CSS editing experience and since this web site is for my church, I think the pastor wants to get by as inexpensively as possible, at least for now. That being said, I take it that the answer is “NO”, it can not be done, at this time.

If I learn CSS editing, will I be able to do it without purchasing the custom design upgrade?
-
I just found the answer to my question, I have to purchase the upgrade. Well, maybe later.

Given the fact that all Pages have Titles on their Tabs, and all Pages have titles at the top of each page that state “About Us” etc., one could consider that to be sufficient enough labeling for the visitor to know which page they are on.

In 2011, the “active” page is shown with bold text in the top navigation. That can be changed with CSS in a number of ways. You can make the text a different color, or you can give the current (active) page tab a different background color to name just two possibilities.
