How do i make my blog public?

  Hi all

  I have a new account set up with a new blog.

  I can’t find it in any search engine [goggle etc] though. Am I missing something here? With a regular wordpress.com blog can it be viewed outside of wordpress? Or do I need a premium account?

  It usually takes a while for search engines to pick up a new website. Whether hosted here or elsewhere.

  But even if I copy and pasteumy URL it still won’t find it ….

  What is the URL you are copy & pasting and how long has that URL been in use?

  Also did you import the contents to the blog you are having trouble with?

  I can see your blog fine.

  So, I’m not sure why you would not be seeing it.

  But is that because you are a wordpress member?

  I.e. could anyone click that link [that is not signed into wordpress] and view my blog?

  What is the URL you are copy & pasting and how long has that URL been in use?

  Also did you import the contents to the blog you are having trouble with?

  Also has the blog been changed recently from Private to Public

  If you are pasting a URL: into a search engine – you will have problems until the search engine indexes your site
