How do I make my blog searchable online?

When I type plantpreppers into the search box on yahoo, I cannot find my blogs site. I paid the 18 $ for the .com addition was well. What can I do to find the link to my site ?

How many posts have you published on the new blog?
Did you follow this guide to verify ownership http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/very carefully and not use any other instructions because they do NOT apply to free hosted WordPress.com blogs?
Also note that even if you don’t verify the blog your posts will still be indexed so there’s no need to feel panicky about this at all. It takes time and frequent publication of content that cannot be found elsewhere on the internet for search engines to discover your content and index it.

You have a 3 day old blog with two Posts on it – it takes 4 to 6 weeks to index a new site with search engines and that is if you have content to index – you need to blog more
