How do I make my first “welcome” post remain on the top of my blog?

  I just started a blog (http://raisingveganchildren.wordpress.com/)and want my first post, which is a description of my blog” to remain on top of all the subsequent posts so that it is the first thing anyone to site reads. Thank you.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can just Edit the post and, on the right-hand side you’ll see the option to make it a sticky post. Just select that option.

  I should have been more specific: you have to click on “Visibility” and it’ll expand and show you:

  Visibility:
  Public
  Stick this post to the front page
  Password protected
  Password:
  Private
