How do I make my footer widget background white?
-
Hello –
My blog is dosesofdesign.com, I have a footer widget area at the bottom, and I’d really like the background to be white for entire site including that whole area at bottom. Is there a way to do this?
Please help!!
Thank you,

Hi again,
try adding this to your Custom CSS box:
#colophon, #footer, #copyright { background: #fff; border-color: #fff; }The above CSS will turn the border colors to white as well, so your footer might blend too much. To add a horizontal border between the footer area and the main area, try this (I specifically choose the color to match the sidebar border color):
#footer { border-top: 1px solid rgba( 221, 221, 221, 0.3 ); } -
Also, now your FB widget stands out because its background color is black; I believe you can set the widget to use a white bg color instead.

AWESOME! Thank you… is there anyway to completely center the “upper footer widget” area so that my advertisement is completely centered at the bottom of my site?

You can use this:
.content-sidebar #upper-footer-widgets .textwidget { margin: 0 auto; float: none; } -
