How do I make my front page my most recent single post?

When you goto my website I’d like it to show the most recent individual post instead of multiple posts.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When my menus are clicked on the top of my page and someone clicks a subheading, how can they click it to find short summarized versions of each post that is in the clicked category? My old theme I got it working on but I gotta get it going on this new one.

HI there,
When you goto my website I’d like it to show the most recent individual post instead of multiple posts.
Please go to Settings > Reading and then set Blog pages show at most to 1. Remember to click on Save Changes at the bottom.

You can create Excerpts for each post. When you edit the post, create and excerpt in the excerpt module and that will show up with a link to view the entire post.

Hello Grace, I followed through with the excerpts page. If you look at my page, what I’d like is that when people look at my menu ( marksingletonblog.com ) they will click a topic and each post will have a summarized version show up instead of having to scroll through each post extensively.

I had made the more tag for my most recent post several days ago. I added Excerpts to three posts that are under the heading:
Blog Series>Biography. I was wanting that when you click under the menu Blog Series > Biography you would be directed to a page with the excerpts for the three biographies I have.My hopes was that when you goto any of my menus, you don’t have to scroll through each post but can see shortened summarized versions.

Ah, I see what you mean! Sorry – I was mistaken and didn’t realize you were using the Coraline theme. Unfortunately, that theme does not support the excerpt feature and it is theme dependent.
However, you can always use the More tag. If you prefer creating your own excerpts, take a look at this guide made by one of our volunteers:
It will show you which themes allow the excerpt feature and in what form.
