How do I make my header smaller?

My logo is my header on my blog. It is way too big and I am not sure how to shrink it so you can see some of the blog posts without having to scroll down
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The recommended dimensions for your site’s header image are 1120×252 pixels.
You can adjust the image before you upload it to your site. Try to adhere as closely as possible to your theme’s recommended header dimensions.
For image manipulation, you can use a program like Skitch.
