How do I make my images in each post larger?
-
I have a new blog and I will be showcasing pictures of DIY projects, fashion and food pictures. How can I make my images in each post larger? I am using the chateau theme. I would like the image to be a little bit bigger so that my readers can see them better. I use picmonkey.com for adding detail to my photos and borders.

When you add an image to a post you’ll of course use the Add Media button. This will most likely access images you’ve already downloaded into your Media using Media/Add New.When you click the Add Media button inside the post editor and select your image, you have sizing/scaling opportunities right there. After you select your image, you’ll see some info about your image on the right side of the media screen. Scroll down and you’ll see an area called Attachment Display Settings.
The bottom field of Attachment Display Settings lets you select different image sizes. Choose Full Size for the largest image.
Another opportunity: Still on the right side of the Insert Media screen is an edit image link. Click that link and in the Edit Media screen that follows, there’s a Scale Image link in which you can specify the exact size of the image you want. That function will also keep your image in scale automatically.
This should get you moving in the right direction. Cheers!
