How do I make my media display on a separate tab from my blog?

I cannot find directions on how to make my media come up in a separate tab so that viewers aren’t taken away from my site when they click on my PDF’s or links. Help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are two, equally easy, ways to accomplish this goal! If you go to your post in question, and get to your “Edit Post” page, here are your options:
– Under the “Visual” tab (found at the upper right of your text edit box), you can click on the link, and then click the Hyperlink icon (it looks like 3 chain links). In that popup, there is a box you can check to “Open links in new tab/window.”
– If you’re a little more code-friendly, you can go into the “Text” tab and change all of your
TEXTto TEXT -
Your media are on attachment pages. You cannot change the URLs for them. I see you have PDFs links in your posts.
For the PDFs if you want to embed the document itself, you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs. Otherwise, the documents will appear as a download link.
