How do I make my posts appear on my Showcase page?

I am using the Oxygen theme for my blog. My latest post is not showing up on the front page, which is a showcase page, and the featured photo for that post is not visible in the slider. I have the image set as featured and the post is “sticky” Is there a setting I need to change for my site?
