How do i make my posts page look better
-
Hey, how do I make my posts page look better, and by that, I want my images I post to show up under the post title.
Here’s an example of what i mean

I want the image to show up under the post, and before anyone suggests using the featured image option, I already tried that, it creates a duplicate image in the post so that there are two images.

Hi there,
I’m not sure I understand, as the featured image does appear under the post title as shown here: https://maylanddemo.wordpress.com/2019/09/04/butterfly-lighting/
To clarify, the black and white photo on that page has be added via the Featured Image setting.
I want the image to show up under the post, and before anyone suggests using the featured image option, I already tried that, it creates a duplicate image in the post so that there are two images.
It sounds like you are adding the image into the text area (of the blog post) as well as setting the featured image, yes? If so you may want to set up the featured image only (and not add it to the text area of the post as well) to prevent it from showing up twice.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Featured images work differently from regular images added in the post content, and it’s not possible to change where a featured image links to, the way you can change it for images in the post content.
On the front page/posts page, the featured image will always link back to the post itself, while on the single-post view, the featured image is usually unlinked. This is controlled by the theme, but most WordPress themes work the same in this regard.
