How do I make my site temporarily unavailble (under construction)

  Make site temporarily unavailable. I would like to do some upgrade on my site, but would prefer if it wasn’t available to the public until all modifications are made. When users come to my page, I would like there to be a message letting them know it is temporarily under construction.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The easiest way to do this is to create a static front page following the instructions here:

  Set the Homepage

  Then, you could remove all widgets and menu items from your site. That way, visitors will only see the notice on your static front page.
