How do I make my theme work with JetPack?
-
Hello,
I want to use JetPack’s features, like the share buttons and the carousel. Every time I read an FAQ response about the theme being incompatible, it says I should “contact the author of the theme.” Well, I am the author! How do I make my theme work with JetPack? I’ve never created a theme before, and my current setup is basically just some HTML converted into WordPress theming — I don’t use any special setup or functions, and I don’t even have a widget bar.
I can view the source and see that jQuery is being loaded by WordPress in the <head> tag, but there’s no initialization for any carousel (which is what I’m trying to test). My web site is here: http://www.phoenixarizonashutters.com/composite-wood-shutters . Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Excellent, glad to hear this! For future reference, you can find Jetpack support documentation here: http://jetpack.me/support/
The only feature in Jetpack that needs theme compatibility is Infinite Scroll. You can find more information about it here: http://jetpack.me/support/infinite-scroll/
