How do I make newer posts appear at top?

Ok, so I just resurrected my blog and would like to know how to make it so that newer posts appear at the top w/ older posts towards the bottom?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oh and how do I put my picture on the top of my blog as well?, or mebe so that it appears in the left column under every new post I put in?

I have the same question–there used to be an option to set the order, but I don’t see it…

Newer posts will always appear on top unless you’ve fiddled around and made some posts sticky. If you’ve done that, undo it.

And some themes display author avatars and some don’t. You can always make a text widget and put your picture in it, but that won’t associate it with your posts. You can just put your picture right in every post if you want, though.

Ok. I checked to see if any of the three posts I made today were “Sticky”–none were. They are seriously in no apparent order. My earliest post is still at the top, the last I posted is in 2nd position, and the poll I posted second is at the bottom. I cannot see any setting that should make this happen. http://sofaoftheunemployed.wordpress.com/
    Any help would be great.

The titles of the posts, or direct links to them as you’re talking about them would be useful. Because it’s entirely possible that you and I are seeing different things.

I see that theme does not display the TIME of a post. But you can go in and edit the posts’s timestamps to put them in the proper order easily enough.

And make a test post, see where it ends up and report back.
