how do I make separate protfolios divided by menu pages?

    I’m using the portfolio feature on the theme Illustratr and I want separate portfolios for separate pages. (I want a general portfolio page for example, then a separate “comics” portfolio page, ect.) but all pages on portfolio template link to the same with no separation or category. What’s the point of having a menu feature and a portfolio feature if they both can’t be used at the same time?

    I’m happy to help you out with this. First, it looks like your domain nickifrance.net isn’t quite functioning right. Did you potentially change the A record on the domain to point somewhere other than WordPress.com?

    Regarding having different portfolios on separate pages, the easiest way to accomplish this would be to separate your portfolio items into different projects as explained here:

    Then, you could use the portfolio shortcode to display the posts on different pages according to project:
