How do I make someone an author but still require approval before publishing?

  I would like all blog posts to require admin approval before being posted, however the option of making them a ‘contributor’ doesn’t allow them to post images, which I would like for them to do. How can I achieve both?

  Unfortunately, it needs to be either one of the other. If they can host their images elsewhere (like Flickr), they can add them via HTML:

  <img src="[image URL]"/>
