How do I make subfolder for my categories Example: Category: Recipes Subcate
-
When I create a parent category, I have no problem. When I create a category under the Parent, it still shows up in the list, not as a subcategory. What do I need to do to fix this?
I am hoping this can be fixed so that When I click on Recipes, a subcategory under it will show but not until then.
RECIPES (Parent) – once this is clicked, THEN the remainder would become visible.
Entrees (Subcategory)
Veggies (Subcategory)
Desserts (Subcategory)Hope I have not been too redundant.
Thanks for any help!

On your Categories widget, please check “Show hierarchy” checkbox.
(“Appearance” > “Widgets” > click the arrow next to “Categories” box)
That will show your sub categories on the sidebar in a different style than the main categories.

Thank you so much!
They are still visible, is there a way for this to show only after clicking on Recipes?
If not, this helps. -

Sorry, that’d only be possible with some custom JavaScript which is not able to embedded on WordPress.com blogs.
