How do I make sure people will see my blog?

  Hi everybody,

  I just got a WordPress today, and I saw that on my home page I could see blogs were classified by “art” or “design”, and I could click on a category like that and a bunch of blogs would pull up. How do I do that for mine? I added tags to my first post (draft, so I haven’t posted it yet), but I made those up, like “summer reading”. Is there a specific way of categorizing a post or your entire blog so when people search a specific category mine pulls up?

  I apologize in advance if this is a super easy answer…I’m really technologically challenged.

  If a post is not published then people cannot view it: not at all, including in categories and tags. Publish, the see what happens.
