How do I make the comments appear underneath each blog?
-
Hello from a relatively novice blogger.
How do I make the comments appear underneath each blog? At the moment there’s just a comment count at the top and people don’t even realise that you click on it to see comments. They want to see their comments underneath the blog like you see on other blog sites. Please can you tell me how to make this happen as I know other users have managed this in the past but I don’t understand all the talk about code and php files!
Please help!
Kind regards,

Hi,
I guess you are referring to the ‘home page’, where posts are shown to scroll through.. You have to click an view the post itself to also see the comments. I thought ‘comments’ and to ‘view them’ was quite clear though. The only way for it to display on your ‘home page’ would be to get a theme that supports this, or get the custom content upgrade, if you’re attached to the ‘crafty theme’ -
Hello!
I’m still new to all this but if you click on any of my blog posts, the comments don’t appear underneath the blog itself like they do on other blog sites, (such as blogger). The only way to view comments, is to click on the comments counter at the top, something I only discovered myself the other day. Before I found the counter, I had no idea why the comments were not appearing underneath because I just assumed that’s where they would appear.
I know other WordPress users have added a piece of code somewhere in order to make the comments appear underneath the blog page they’re commenting on so that everyone can see them without having to click a link to go to another page. I just don’t understand yet how to make that happen, but that is what I am trying to achieve. :) -
Hi,
I just checked again for you, looked at your ‘hexagon cushion…’ post, and I do see the comments there, just by clicking on the title of the post. Perhaps you are on a phone or ipad?

Hello again!
I’ve been fiddling with things behind the scenes and now they are appearing below. They honestly weren’t there this morning, this is the first time they’ve appeared below the actual blog. I don’t know what I’ve done but I’ve got what I wanted so I’ll stop fiddling!
Thank you for your help. :)
