how do i make the favicon background display as clear in the browser?

  My Favicon background is being uploaded as clear, yet it displays in the browser inside of a white square.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. I checked your site in both Firefox and Chrome, and in both the favicon appears with a transparent background. If you’re using a different browser, it might be a setting in your browser that’s ignoring the transparent background.
