How do I make the featured images in posts smaller in the theme Mesmerize?

    I have spent days trying to figure out how to change the size of the featured images in my posts. They are all very big. I want a small thumbnail image for each of my posts on my pages but no matter what I do the picture is huge and looks ridiculous. I am a beginner and all of this is new to me and I’m so confused and ready to just quit its so frustrating
