How do I make the Home tab either disappear or show another page?

  I am using the Misty Look theme and I have a welcome page that shows what I want displayed on my home page. I have in general settings that the front page show a static page of the Welcome page I have created. However, in the top menu it shows the home tab and also the welcome tab. I only want one those as they both display the same information.

  You can change this by creating your own menu via Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard.

  This still does not. No matter what I do I can not get rid of the Home tab. Would you mind looking at the website to see what I mean?

  You have created a menu, but you haven’t assigned it to your theme yet via the Theme Locations box near the top-left.
