How do I make the posts appear on my blog as a small excerpt, followed by a '. .

  I want to make it so that only a short section of the article appears, and then a reader clicks [read more] to read the rest of the post.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Either use a theme that does that automatically or use the MORE tag, the button on the Write Post page that looks like a dotted line crossing the page.
