How do I make the sidebar display in the proper place?

The sidebar on the right side of my page keeps moving to the bottom of the screen. I tried following the prompts in the help section, but it wouldn’t display only one post at a time when I changed that setting.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Howdy,

I’m making some changes to your site. I’ll let you know in a few minutes when I’m finished. Thanks!

  • Howdy again,

How’s that? I added a Tag of “featured” to the newest post, and then changed the Settings->Reading settings to include using the “featured” tag. With that set, it stopped mucking up your site :-)

If you have any questions or need anything else, please let me know. Cheers!

Thank you for the help! It is much better, but I was wondering if there is a way to get the sidebar to display on the right of the featured post as well, so it would be all the way at the top of the page. Also, is it possible to get the older posts to display vertically like they were before? Thanks again for all your help!!

  • How about that? I made some more tweaks using the Custom CSS tool that is a part of your Custom Design upgrade. You can see what I did at https://franklincountyanimalshelter.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php#css

If you need anything else, please let me know or, if looking for tweaks like the CSS one mentioned, feel free to also post in our Custom CSS forums at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization .

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need anything else!
