How do I make the tabs up near the header link directly into a chosen page when
-
I need to have one of my tabs on my wordpress blog link directly to a page outside my website. I want a user to be able to click on “Portfolio” tab and go directly to that outside website. How do I create this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You create a custom menu and you add a custom link to it.

I just did that… now how do I add this custom menu as a “tab” in my bar where when a user presses it, it goes directly to the other site?

There are many common errors, misunderstanding and misconceptions when creating custom menus and you can read about them here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/

Thank you I figured it out now. Once I activated, I noticed I only had the one menu bar I added. I figured out I can also add more “links” to my “new custom menu” and that will create multiple tabs in the header bar. Thanks for your help!
