I have a domain name http://www.autismwelcomed.com connected to my wordpress site.
But when I open it up on my cell it’s not mobile friendly/ mobilized.
How can I fix this? Thanks Angela HartThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Angela,
This is because you’re using a very old theme that was created before it was standard practice to make websites responsive on mobile phones. Your theme, Misty Lake, has long since been retired.
You have two options:
1) Go to https://wordpress.com/themes/ and switch to a newer theme – all our themes listed on that page are fully responsive.
2) Activate the default mobile theme. This theme won’t look the same as the theme on the desktop version of your site and won’t include all of your widgets, but it is mobile-friendly:

Hi there. I recently upgraded to the WP Business plan and am noticing a few “wonky” things on my site. I suspect that much of this is just growing pains as I try to learn how to adjust to the new functionality of the Business Plan.
One of the issues is that I no longer know how to make my site (www.mannerofspeaking.org) mobile friendly. The theme is Twenty Ten. When I go to Appearance, there is no longer an option for Mobile. Instead, there is AMP but I am not sure how that works and don’t want to mess anything up.
Google Console is now telling me that about 140 posts are not mobile friendly. Can you please help? Many thanks.

mannerofspeaking –
The business plan gives you access to our live chat support 7 days per week. That will always be the quickest way to reach help. Of course, we’re happy to help you here in the forums, but, being asynchronous by nature means it will take longer.
Go to https://wordpress.com/help/contact/ to get in touch with our live chat support team.
The Twenty Ten theme is mobile friendly be design. In fact, all of the WordPress.com themes are responsive. They do not require any special customization for that.

Thank you, Liz. You see? Now I know that Live Chat comes with the Business Plan!
Cheers!

Hi there,
Just a small correction – the Twenty Ten theme is not mobile responsive, and we retired that theme in mid-2017 for that reason, so it’s not even available any more for sites created after then.
@mannerofspeaking, if you want a similar theme that is mobile-responsive, I suggest you consider switching to Twenty Sixteen instead:https://wordpress.com/theme/twentysixteen
If you’d prefer to stay on Twenty Ten and just switch on the default mobile theme for the site instead, you’re not seeing that under appearance any more on your Business Plan site, https://mannerofspeaking.org/, because the way that site works changed when you installed plugins on it. You’ll now find the options to enable the mobile theme in Jetpack settings on that site:

Thank you, @kokkieh. This is helpful. I will make the adjustment now and let you know if I have any problems. I think this is a good time to upgrade my theme. I have been using Twenty Ten for almost 10 years and it has had a good run but I think the time has come to freshen up the site.
If I change themes to something like Maxwell or GeneratePress or something similar, I assume that all of my posts, widgets, pages, etc. will still be there but that I might have to spend a bit of time arranging things. I know that I cannot hold you to anything, but can you give me a ballpark figure as to the amount of time it can reasonably take? I am decent enough working with the Classic dashboard, I know very little about CSS, I have some experience with Customization.
Many thanks.

Correct. Your content, i.e. posts and pages, won’t be affected at all.
Some widgets might disappear, if the new theme doesn’t have the same widget areas as Twenty Ten, but you should be able to restore them from the Inactive Widgets section in WP-Admin ->Appearance ->Widgets. Depending on the theme you might also need to reassign some menus, though the menus themselves will stay intact – an existing custom menu might just be de-activated.

That depends very much on which theme you pick, and how complex the theme is to set up.
As you’re using a standard blog-layout on your site, provided you don’t plan on changing that, restoring any widgets and menus that might be disabled by a switch should take only a few minutes.
